Hello, all,
Sunday, August 9, 2026, was one of those hot, muggy days. We all thought it would be a very slow day. Well, guess what – we had a kayak group and lots of people who were raised in south Baltimore (Bill’s home area). There were 24 visitors and $46 in donations. Everyone had lots of questions and thought it was a great day.

The forecast for Sunday, August 16, 2026, is rain and 75 degrees. Dress for the weather and see what we get.

Our trail is useable. There may be some small debris, but nothing to worry about. We now have permission to use the 7 acres to the right of the driveway which leads to the water. Nothing is planned for this area at this time.

Our next event is August 23, 2026. The Asquith Sharpshooters will be helping us remember the Burning of the “Lion of Baltimore”.

Due to our inability to attract gardeners, starting in Spring April 2027 our gardening will change.
*Priority 1 – make the door gardens great.
*Priority 2 – Try to include some vegetables in the kitchen garden.
*Priority 3 – Try to keep some of the Lavender going.
This will change the look of the Hancock grounds, but it will be less stressful for our gardeners.
